esh consultancy & training ltd has an excellent reputation for delivering quality and effective training within the secondary schools across Lincolnshire. Our wide variety of courses offer vast training opportunities for pupils, enabling them to reach their full potential in life. One of esh consultancy & training’s most popular courses is the full-day Peer Mentor training.

Mentoring is all about helping someone else achieve their full potential. It provides young people, both the mentors and mentees, with the opportunity to learn more about themselves and the world around them.  Effective mentoring schemes are proven to contribute to radical changes in the atmosphere within schools. Greater mutual respect amongst adults and pupils often results in an enhanced learning  environment, a reduction in anti-social behaviour and an increase in self-respect and self-worth. Our mentor training and the projects that can be run as a result of it, complement the 5 social and emotional aspects of learning: self-awareness, managing feelings, motivation, empathy and social skills, which the Government have identified. They believe these are the underpinning qualities and skills that help us manage life and learning effectively. Additionally, mentors can work towards the ASDAN Awards and Qualifications. ASDAN offers a wide range of Awards for young people of all abilities. They aim to recognise and reward their skills as they complete ‘Personal Challenges' in such areas as sports, healthy living, community involvement, work experience, expressive arts, relationships, citizenship, personal finance and enterprise. All our courses can be bespoke and can be tailored to each individual schools needs and requirements. See ‘Latest News’ for details of even more new courses.
